The aim of the conference is to identify theoretical and practical aspects of contemporary security in the context of opportunities, challenges, and threats, and to exchange views between academics and practitioners on the assumptions, conditions, practical solutions, and directions of evolution of contemporary security in a context of constant changes in global politics and the impact of natural factors. Analysis of research results conducted by research centers and exchange of experiences among those involved in these issues will provide answers to a number of related questions and issues. The Organizing Committee invites both representatives of the scientific community and practitioners dealing with the issues of broadly understood security facing contemporary threats to participate in the Conference.

  • issues of population protection in the face of natural hazards;
  • civil defence and its role during armed conflicts;
  • building system of population protection and civil defence;
  • system of individual and collective population protection;
  • protection of population against unconventional weapon (CBRN);
  • EU Civil Protection Mechanism (UCPM);

 

• Other issues in the area of modern security
  • problems of global warming and possibilities of adaptation to climate change;

  • Artificial Inteligence (AI) and the threats arising from its uncontrolled development;

• Registration of participation in the conference and abstract sending by 15.03.2026
• Confirmation of the acceptance of application by 20.03.2026
• Payment of the conference fee by 15.04.2026.
• Sending full article text to proceeding by 30.04.2026 r.

• Conference fee:
  • 600 zł – normal
  • 300 zł – reduced for students

The fee does not include accommodation costs, which are listed below.

• As part of the fee, organizers provide participants with:

– participation in the conference panels;

– meals during the conference, and additionally:

* ceremonial networking meting connected with dinner – 26.05.2026

* dinner in the „barbecue garden” – 27.05.2026

– article publishing in the conference proceeding;

– proceeding book.
